"This comfortable dining room, entering its 12th year in Preston Royal Shopping Center, has aged gracefully....it's certainly Dallas friendly. Veal Milanese, roasted salmon, and veal piccata are the top sellers, but I prefer to slip in and eat at the always crowded bar. There, surrounded by my mid-50s peers, I enjoy a thin-crust pizza baked in the kitchen's brick oven. There is always live music - piano on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and a jazz trio on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The wine list is stocked with familiar Chardonnays, Cabernets, and Merlots, but there is also a nice selection of Italian wines, including a Brolio Chianti Classico, which paired well with a pizza of Italian sausage, portabello mushroom, asparagus, and fontina cheese. Popolos, owned by Stephen Hammond (who operates Park Cities Prime), also offers pick-up, home delivery service, and Atkins- and  South Beach Diet-friendly dishes on the menu." D Magazine. March, 2009
